a :i Mr, Semelsberger goes native. A couple of victims of A-33 shopping fever. Half of the crew could be found in Building A-33 at almost any hour of the day. Most of the crew managed a few trips to Yokosuka, visiting the local sights. Kamakura ' s Buddha and Tokyo were popular tourist trips even with short time avail- able. The Olympics were in progress at Tokyo and a few of the more fortunate were able to get some tickets and attend. • Even those without tickets enjoyed the excitement in Tokyo gener- ated by the presence of the Olympic Games. All was not play in Yokosuka. The casualties Colonial had suffered on station were repaired, so she would be in peak mechanical shape. 64
