'84 The parade, held before the football game, began with many organizations enter- ing their floats in the festive parade. Among them were: Student Council, Chorus, Band, Spanish Club, and both Junior and Sopho- more Classes. The theme of the parade was Colonial Goes To The Movies and the stunning float of the Student Council won with the theme Steamboat Willie and the Grenadiersf' Q '. Homecoming is one of the most joyful and memorable times during a stu- dent's life. Two of the most exciting events that lead up to Homecoming are the bonfire and the Parade of Floats. The bonfire was held the night before the Homecoming football game where many students gathered to watch the huge mass of wood, rolled with toilet paper, light up as night fell. The cheer- leaders cheered with much spirit and everyone watched with anticipation
