The 1984-1985 baseball year started out with a big bang. The team had alot of Seniors and with the lead- ership of the team put upon the great coaching staff, the team was very successful. As defending Metro champs, the team had alot of pressure on them as they started with an opening game against Winter Ha- ven on February 13, 1985 which was the first time the fields new lights were shown. The field had alot of changes made including a new concession stand and a whole new section of fence. Plants and trees were also added. Colonial baseball should be 1151 again this year! Ashely Maratas shows how to keep your eyes on the balls. Ricky Key shows patience at the plate. Mario Linares awaits the throw from the sec- ond baseman. Robert Beatty receives the ball from the out- field. Russell Woolums shows the proper way to stand at the plate. David Walker calmly awaits the next pitch. Billy Miller demonstrates how to properly field a ground ball.
