Senior Class Through the years the first graduating class has experienced many memorable events. Being the highest class all the way through school, we have been the first in everything; and we have paved the way for other potential seniors. Being the first in everything has been a unique experience; it has been fun--but it has required much co-operation and organization. Senior Class Finally we began to accept the fact that we would all go to Colonial Heights High School until graduation, and we began to work to make our school one of which we can be proud. As we began to work and to mature, changes were made. We began to change classes for the first time, to have athletic events, to have a band, and to have dances and parties at school. But more im¬ portant than all of these things, we began to realize how lucky we were to be members of the first graduating class at Colonial Heights High School. She, surely, has been the inspiration of our class, and has helped us in every possible way. We then began to organize ana to elect our class officers. They were: Doris Marie Smith, president; Ben Bunker, vice-president; Charlotte Stoss, secretary; Iva Lee Crocker, treasurer; and Martha Ann Tench, Mary Ann Davis, and Charles Carter were elected members of the executive board. These people served as the governing body of our class until the spring of our junior year. JONES MEMOR aL LLkAi.y
