Penny’s outside activities included C.G.I.T. and a church ch LINNETTE SHEARER - Linnette, an active member of 9-15 this year, enjoyed swimming and skating we well as other outdoor activities. Her ambition ' is to become a lab technician, I RICKY AGATE - Ricky, a sports fan, was a well-liked student this year. He plans to beoome a lawyer. ROY BOLTON - Roy, a sohool patrol member for two years, was also a member of the Badminton, Chess, and Newspaper Clubs, An excellent badminton played; his ambition is to beoome an accountant, HARRY BUDNER - Harry, an avid sports-player, especially bowling, contributed a great deal toward the classroom abnosphere. Harry plans to train as an architect. JIM COLEMAN - Participating in all houseleagues, Jim was a definite asset to our room. Always ready for fun, he liked girls and all sports. GERRIT CUNNINGHAM - Gerritt, ah active person was liked by all this year. His ambition is to become an aeronautical engineer, MARK DE BRUYN - An ambitious student, Mark was liked by everyone. As well as belonging to the Science and Newspaper Clubs, this prospective biochemist was engaged in many outside activities. IAN HALL - A quiet student, Ian Hall likes the outdoors and his ambition is to be a Forest Ranger. His hobbv, breeding birds, kept him busy this year, RICHARD JONES - President of our class, Richard was a quiet student who consistently obtained good marks. Active oh the Newspaper and interested in hockey, he hopes to become an oceanographer. BOB KENNEDY - Better known to everyone as Chick”, Bob was a member of all school sports teams. An avid fisherman, his aim is to become a vet. VINCENT MAH - Vince, an active, well-known person around Irvine, intends to be an Engineer in Architecture. He was active in sohool sports this year, LARRY MURPHY - Larry enjoys playing football, water skiing and boating. Larry plans to go to university and become an electronic engineer. MURRAY 1 RAE - Born in Calgary, Murray enjoyed fishing, chess, soocer and track. He hopes to follow an outdoor career. KEN REDDEKOPP - Ken was a member of the sohool soccer and volleyball teams. He intends to have an outdoor career, after completing his schooling, TERRY STEPHENSON - Terry, an active person, was liked by all this year. H6 enjoys sports and was a member of the school volleyball team. He also belonged to the chess club, !‘ AL THIESSEN - A1, who enjoys chess and basketball, was an active member - of both the Newspaper and Chess Clubs. His ambition is to become a physicist, BILL TODDINGTPN - Bill this year was a good student and an outstanding athlete. He belonged ' to the Chess, Badminton and Newspaper Clubs as well as being on all sohool teams. He intends to beoome a dentist. DOUG TRIMBLE - Doug, one of Colonel Irvine’s outstanding athlete’s has been on the school soccer, volleyball and basketball teams. Doug hopes to beoome a school teacher and play professional football. KaY BOON ' - ih Math, ' Kay is a whiz, but she also enjoys sports and music. Heh ambition is to become a secretary. LINDA CROSBY - Linda is interested in sports and horses; Her ambition is ' to become a nurse. JOAN DAVIES - Joan is interested in sports and music - especially the accordian. Her ambition is to become either a lab technician or teacher LYNNE 3 FRANCIS - Lynne ' s interests are sports and art. Her ambition is to travel around the world. ■

GARY WONG - Gary or Jughead is fun loving and drives a white mouse to school -when it runs D His ambition is to be a pro football player but has visions of being a ski bum. JANE ANDERSON - Jane ' s presence was felt in every room she entered, A loyal class member, she participated in all houseleague sports. She was an active member of the badminton club. Her favorite ' sayings, Yous guys and How come were a source of amusement to the whole class, BONNIE BERGMAN - Well known and liked by everyone at Irvine, Bonnie has been a competent all round student since she came here from Hanna in Grade 7. This year she was active on the newspaper and won the Student of the Month award fbr Sept - Oct® She belonged to the Referee Club and was active outside the school as well LINDA CARMICHAEL - Linda was a very active student this year, participating in all school sports as well as being a member of the Newspaper and and Referee Clubs, She was secretary of the Students ' Council and won the Newspaper ' s ' tyliss I-Opener Award, She hopes to become a phys,-ed® teacher. BARBARA CARRUTHERS - Barbara was editor of the yearbook and was a member of the Newspaper Club, She was awarded Student of the Month for December last year. Because of her very good marks it is evident that she will succeed in her ambition of becoming a sohool teacher. WILMA DARJES - Wilma Darjes. a friendly easy-going person with a smile for everyone, worked on the Yearbook this year. She was interested in records, clothes and skiing and her ambition is to one day become an interior decorator, CHAYLE DICKEY - Chayle, who enjoyed swimming and bowling at the Winter Club, was active in our school houseleagues this year 0 She would like to become a Home Lonomics teacher and travel to Europe, JUDY ELLEKER - One of our room ' s more intelligent student ' 3, Judy, intends to complete school and become a nurse. Her favorite subjeot was Social Studies, She was on the girl’s volleyball team this year, and her other outside interests included bowling and ourling, GAIL FORSTER - Gail, a well-known wtudent, has bean an asset to our school® She won Student of the Month for November was President and Sa-rgeant- at-arms of her class and was secretary of the Newspaper Club, Gail had many outside activities this year, which included music lessons, C.G. I.T, and choir. FAYE MOULDING - During her past three years at Irvine, Faye has won a French award and a math award. Interested in music, she has studied piano for the past year. Active in C.G,I.T., Faye has been a diligent worker in all class activities, MARGARET MOONEY - Margaret is an active student in our sohool. While maintaining good marks this year, she was also a member of the junior girl’s basketball team and the Newspaper Club, She enjoys skating, swimming and camping, CATHY MORLEY - Cathy, a well-known student at Irvine for 3 years, takes music lessons and is active outside the school Next year she intends to go to boarding school in Winnipeg, DIANE NICHOLS - Diane, a friendly person with a kind word for everyone, was also a remarkable student throughout her three years at Irvine, She won the Student of the Month award in May, 1962, and this year was the competent editor of the I-Opener, Diane also worked on the Milk Bar this year 0 MILDRED PIRNAK - Mildred, an excellent student, attained the Honor Roll this year, Sinoe moving here from British Columbia at the beginning of the year, Mildred has been well-liked by everyone. Her favorite ] subjeot was Home Economics

JOYCE HAMM - Our class ' s pretty secretary enjoys sewing, painting and making posters for the Newspaper Club. She takes part in many church activities. Her ambition is to become a pharmacist. MARJORIE KITCHEN - Smiling Marj ' s hobby is collecting mechanical toys. She is an active member of the Newspaper Club. VANESSA LAMBERT - Petite Vanessa enjoys art and sports. WENDY ROBERTS - Wendy enjoys all sports as well as playing the accordian. Her ambition is to be a nurse. CAT1Y YOUNG - Cathy is our class 3 ergeant-at-arms. Her ambition is to become a hairdresser. BKRMIE BURGER - Bernie enjoys most sports but seems particularly interested in swimming. His ambition is to become a mechsnio, ROY DENISON - Roy ' s favorite school subjects are social studies and scienoe 0 He is also interested in all sports 0 His ambition is to become a geologist. JIM DOUGHERTY - Jim ' s activities include Air Cadets and theBoy 3 Scouts. His ambition is to obtain a Private Pilot ' s License. BRUCE DUNBAR - Bruce is one of our class ' s better artists 0 Heaijoys drawing, collecting stamps and sports. His ambition is to be an ocmmerical artist. LARRY ELFORD - Larry is new to our school; we welcome himl He is interested in cars and baseball. His ambition is to bo a meohanio. DAVID FLEMING - David is interested in leather crafts and has made many useful articles, David ' s ambition is to be a veterinarian. DAVID FRYER - Dave is interested in art 0 He has taken courses for three years at the Tech. H e wishes to become a commerical artist. ALAN GEORGE- ' Shiny Shoes Al ' likes the air cadets and cars. His ambition is to join the regular Air FV.: oo. AL GUMMO - A1 is. interested in all outdoor sports. He plans to become a forest ranger. It seems A 1 likes the outdoors. DON HQ,!IE - Don is our olass sportsman. He belongs to the Winter Club and the Calgary Ski Club. His ambition is to own a large sporting goods store. Looks like he has a sporting good chance. STU MCADAM. - Stu is one of our rarities. Ha enjoys doing his homeworkl He plays many sports and has a strong liking for cars. His ambition is to get through school. BRUCE MCLEOD - Bruoe ' s interests include all outdoor sports and some homework His ambition is tc beoome a forest ranger.
