ANNE MCTAVISH - Anne belongs to the Badminton, Library and Math Clubs. Her outside activities include music, C.G.I.T. , swimming and horses. She plans to be a teacher having a degree in music. CAROL MONILAWS - Her main interest is the Calgary Junior Chorus. While at school she belongs to the Library and Glee Clubs. Carol’s main ambition is to be a nurse in a small hospital on an island or a far-away country. JANET NEIL - Her main interests are basketball and skiing. She participates in all school sports and is a member of the referee and newspaper dubs. In the future she hopes to be a stewardess. JUDY PEEL - She has actively participated in school sports, the Newspaper club and the Badminton club. Her interests include music, sports and boys. CORRINE REEEL - Her major interests centre around reading. She would like to finish high school with an eye to further training. CATHY SAVAGE - Her main interests are sports, Job’s Daughters , boys and the Math club. Her future ambition is to become an airline hostess. BETTY SAWCHUK - Her interests are cheerleading, boys, sports and getting through grade nine. She is an active member of the Newspaper and Referee Clubs. After completing school Betty plans to obtain a career which involves travelling. KEENIE VAST - She is an average student, and participates in basketball, volleyball, track and badminton. Her ambition is to finish school and become a surgical nurse. STEVE BLUMENSCHEIN - His main interests lie in sports and girls. His ambition right now is to pass grade nine. RICHARD BOGEHOLD - He has kept a constantly high academic standing in Colonel Irvine but is also an avid philatelist and geologist. Richard hopes to become a noted mining engineer or geophysicist by diligent study in’ higji school and university. DAVID CRAIG; - David ' s main interests are stamp collecting, making money and belonging to the Math Club, He wants to become famous, as a criminal lawyer. JOHN CRAWFORD - His main interests are travelling and track and field. He is treasurer of the Newspaper Club, as well as class president. John is active on the student ' s council and won the January Student of the Month award. He wishes to find a career in the field of travel. GARY CROSTON - His major interests are outdoor activities such as camping and fishing. He is a member of the Scouts, and belongs to the A.V.A. and Math Clubs and holds the position of vice-president in his class. As to his future ambitions he hopes to work in some phase of forestry which would mean university training, NOEL HUMPHRYS - His main interest is sports, particularly basketball. He belongs to the newspaper club and is head of the boys’ sports. His ambition is to be an engineer. MIKE MABEE - Mike’s interests are sports, scooters and cars. After Grade 12, he plans to visit Europe and ski in the Alps. JOHN MACKENZIE - His main interests are swimming and camping. He has played on Thomcliffe s Bantam hockey and baseball teams, EDWARD MAH LIM - His major interests are sports and outdoor activity. His ambitions are to pass grade nine and go into high school. BILL MURPHY - His main interests are sports, outdoor activity, girls and scooters. His main ambition right now is to pass grade nine DON OLIPHANT - Hdhting, skin diving and getting through Grade 9 are Don’s interests. His ambition is to join the R.C.A.F, and achieve the rank of Flight Sgt» in air cadsts 0 AL SANNES - His main interests are cars, girls, football and more girls. He is interested in engineering and his ambition is to get a degree in mechanioa.

He belongs to a drama group called Calgary ' Youth Players He wants to be an actor, but will probably go into radio or television instead. GORDON OWRE - Gordon, as most boys, likes girls and cars, but especially gir] i He likes reading oar stories, going to shows, listening to records and constructing models of Hot Rods and Cars from kits. Gordon doesn’t like his curly hair 0 DALE PEDERSEN - Dale’s interests include wrestling and coin collecting. Last year he received a citizenship award. So far this year he has not joine any clubs, but Mrs. Smith has her eye on him for a librarian. Dale has been the ’’official scorekeeper for the Junior and Senior teams, and has gone to every game except one. He wants to study medicine later on.. GARRY REPP - At the present, Garry’s main interest is dramatics 9 but he wants to take up teaching as his profession. He has been in three plays this year. His favorite sport is hockey, RONALD THOMPSON - Ron ' s main interests lie in sports. Last year he was on th« midget team. His favorite subjects are social and drama. Ron hates homework, but likes girls, GEORGE r ONG - George is a student who tries to participate in all school activities, He likes all types of music, but says that making music on his ’’licorice stick is another thing. He is hoping to pass ' the departmental exams. RAYMON MORTHINGTON - Ray likes all kinds of sports, especially swimming and water skiing. He likes reading mystery stories, and collecting stamps and - ieces of drift wood. His favorite subject is drama, DON ZEMP - Don likes sports ( - and girls l) His main ambition is to successful complete grade nine this year. His favorite subjects are P.E., language and social. His favorite teacher is Mrs. Pritchard, n i n E — 1 E L ’E V E I) CAROL BARBER - She likes to play basketball, volleyball, skate, bowl and especially ride horses. Her ambition is to become a stenographer. MONICA BECKEDORF - Her main interests are skiing, and swimming. She belongs to the Year book staff c Monica’s ambition is to get her grade ten education in Europe and to become a translator in the U.N. later in life GLENDA BUCHANAN - She is interested in travelling and would like to become a stewardess. Her favorite sports include horse-back riding and bowling. Her ambition is to finish grade 12 and go on to university, JUDY CLEMENTS - Judy, who was a mid-term arriver at Colonel Irvine, is an average student. Her main interest is swimming and her greatest ambition is to travel as a stewardess. ELAINE FOSTER - Her major interests include boys (of course) and all sports especially skating and horseback riding. After finishing high school and college, Elaine plans to be a teacher. JANIS GREEN - Janis enjoys all sports. She would like to be aii air stewardess. Her main ambition right now is to get through ' grade nine. VICKY KELLY - Her main interests are Girl Guides, sports and successfully completing grade nine. After completing high school she plans to be a nurse and if possible to travel as an airline hostess. CAROL KINSELLA - Her main interests are to be a nuisance to everyone and a faithful churoh member. She would like to be a hairdresser and an Explor leader. DIANE KNIGHT - Her main interests are Job’s Daughters, C.G.I.T. , tap dancing and sports. Her ambition is to be a nurse and to get through school. MAUREEN MALLISON -i. Maureen ' s main interests are volleyball, boys and C.G.I.T. Her ambition is to get through grade nine so she may become a teacher or social worker.

LARRY SCOTT - Larry’s interests are Air Cadets, swimming and flying model airplanes. His ambitions are to get through school and .join the R.C.A.F CHRIS WALPOLE - His main interests are amateur radio, music and stamp collei ,He belongs to the Science and Blath Clubs, and serves as a backstage technician. He plans to work in the field of electronic communications, REG-WARREN - He participates in most school sports and would like to enter the engineering field. He swims, bowls and curls. KAREN AIKEMHEAD - Karen ' s main interest lies in skiing. She was a member of the girl ' s volleyball team and is a present member of the Newspaper club, She is secretary of her room and holds the position of Treasurer for the Students’ Council. ADAIR. BROWN - Adair Brown is in grade six music and plans to be a music teacher when she finishes her grade 12 piano. She belongs to the News paper club at school. FRAN DOREY - Fran ' s interests are swimming and horseback riding. Her ambition is to become a nurse, Fran plays on the sohool volleyball team and hopes to enter into track and field. MARGARET GRAHAM - Margaret is on the executive of the newspaper club and also belongs to the badminton club. She is room representative for 9-12 with the Students’ Council. SUSAN LYONS - Susan ' s main interests are swimming, reading and playing badminton. This year Susan is a member of the badminton club but has not played in a tournament, LINDA NICIFORE - Linda ' s ambition is to be a hairdresser. She likes boys and sports, but dislikes doing homework and dishes. ANNE POULTON - Anne ' s favorite interests are art, swimming, sewing, horses, travel and sports. Her ambition is to get her B.Ed. and be a teacher or psychologist. Anne likes funny people and smarties”. Her pet peeve is scrambled eggs, JUDY ROTHNE - Judy would like to be a teacher. She likes clothes and nail polish, but dislikes homework and eggs. BETTY SORENSEN - Betty ' s main interests are swimming and bowling. She enjoys Social Studies but dislikes Math. She hopes to get through school, with an education. LINDA SUNDBERG - Linda is interested in swimming, horseback riding, camping and reading books 0 Her ambition in life is to be a nurse. MAUREEN TRIPP - Maureen’s interests include books and animals. She intends to be a secretary after her schooling and training. JIM ANGEVINE - Jim’s interests range from camping to basketball and football. He played on the school senior basketball team. BRUCE BRAY - Bruce’s favourite sports are swimming and golf. He enjoys tinkering with his car, ROBERT CRUIKSHANK - Robert ' s main interest is in scientific work and he hopes to work in this field one day. Girls and sports follow as second interesl DON CUMMINGS - Don’s interests are car engines and cartoon-drawings. His ambition is to be a rancher, Don is vioe-president of 9-12 and also is the captain of all the boys’ houseleague teams. RICHARD GEIER - Riohard’s main interests are in continuing his schooling and in-later years becoming a doctor. DON HICKEY - Don ' s interests are cars, horses, and girls. He likes building model cars and his ambition is to be a car designer. GERRY KITCHEN - Gerry ' s main interests are cars, girls, and sports. He played de’fense on the sohool soccer team. His ambition is to finish school and take an apprenticeship in carpentry, ROBERT LOCKE - Bob’s interests are automotives and eleotronics. His ambition is a military career as an engineering physicist.
