CR R T IRL i grade eight social Leap Year Phantasy , was held on the 26th of February, and was sponsored by the Students Council, In charge was Peter Van Boeschoten, who I ' m sure everyone thought, did a very good job of introducing the numbers. The dance got off to a very fine start and many different types of dances were exhibited, George Ellis and Linda Engstrom both had a good time after winning two big lollipops for spot dancing to the song by that name. Also Ron Whitney and his partner Pat Beaudry won two chocolate bars for winning the freeze dance. About 8 45 everyone had a delightful time eating hot dogs and pop. This committee was headed willingly by Miss Tench with Miss Johanson helping. Towards the end of the night square dancers were brought in. They were very well done in this manner. The evening ended in a home waltz, and by the looks of things everyone had fun. Shelby Allred 8M ROY it GORDON ' S MITE ROSE SERVICE 40th Ave. 4th Street N,W, CALGARY PHONE AV9-9822 •V t • RDE sac
