COLONEL CRA WFORD HIGH SCHOOL NORTH ROBINSON, OHIO THE GOLDEN EA GLE 1963 I FOREWORD We the Seniors of the Class of 1963 are proud to present to you this edition of the Golden Eagle. Colonel Crawford High School, although new, holds many memo¬ ries for us. The friends, both students and teachers, the educational opportunities, and the ideas of patriotism and freedom, have all been a part of our learning. In this edition of the yearbook, we hope to present to you a glimpse of our memories of the school-life of Colonel Crawford High School. CONTENTS Administration — Page 9 Seniors — Page 21 Underclassmen — Page 37 Activities — Page 65 Athletics — Page 102 Advertisements — Page 127 3 DEDICA TION This issue of the Golden Eagle, published by the graduating class of 1963, is dedicated to patriotism. Patriotism is defined in Webster ' s Dictionary as the love of one ' s country, but to us it has a broader meaning. Besides patriotism for our country, there is patriotism for our school. Each of us should strive to make our country one to be proud of, and we can obtain the foundation for doing so in our school. First, we learn patriotism for our school, and later, we learn patrio¬ tism for our country. In this yearbook, we hope to show our feeling of patriotism for both our country and our school. 4 As the clock approaches 8:45, the students arrive for another school day. 5 As the school day progresses the classrooms are filled with activity. I 6 With the another day departure of the students and teachers, of our high school life comes to a close. 7 BOARD OF EDUCATION L.-R.: Delores Sens, Clerk-treasurer, Harold Yaussy, Herbert Huber, Vice-President, John Spreng, Nor¬ man Bauer, Bob Sweeney, President 8 MR. We the graduating seniors of 1963 are very glad that we have spent our last two years of high school together at this new, beautiful, and modern high school. We have had many wonderful experiences during our high school days, and we know we will miss school life with all its activities after we have graduated. We hope that the present juniors will have as much fun as we have had fulfilling the role of big seniors next year at C.C.H.S.
