BOB 51 52 53 73 73 54 VARSITY FOOTBALL When the gun went off for the start of our first regular football season, it wasn ' t apparent for the two periods of our pre¬ view game that the team had the punch that a football team desperately needs, but they came back in the next game against Green Springs with a score of 28-6. In the third and fourth games Colonel Crawford felt the meaning of the phrase experience.” 55 I ” counts” with a double beat¬ ing by Butler 56-18 and our arch- ' enemy Crestline 72-14, The fighting Colonels resounded in triplicate with thundering wins of 36-6 against Milan Mohawk, and our homecoming game against Mt. Vernon, St. Vincent. PROM 120 The annual Junior-Senior Prom was held in the S. Springs High School gym on Saturday, May 6. Music was furnished by the After Beats from Galion, Ohio. Intermission entertainment was provided by vocal groups from the two schools. From N. Robinson, Wetstone, and Leesville were the Moonbeams, a group of junior girls. From S. Springs were Laura Sturtz, soloist, the junior girls ' ensemble. The Prom was preceded by a banquet at the St. Paul ' s Parish House and followed by a late show at the Tri-City Drive In and a bowling party at Crawford Lanes early Sunday morning.
