FIRST ROW: Calvin Knisely, Norman Brown, Adena Chandler, Pat Gary, Joan Dapper, Charles Winch, Lloyd Blackford. SECOND ROW: Mr. Gary, Lloyd Burgin, Jack Courter, Arland Caris, Melvin Starr, Arthur Stirm, Delbert Ehrman, LASS HI TORY During our first year of school we were recruited as Brownie tailors in Cinderella , a grade school operetta. The second year, Mark McMichael was a singing pirate in Jack and the Beanstalk. ln the third grade, we built mud huts that were supposed to represent the homes of the people we studied in geography. The fifth grade brought Mel Starr who was given a welcome with the song Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star . Our ninth grade English teacher was Miss Wagner. That class has a history all of its own. As we were entering biology class in our tenth grade, we all heard a dull thud. Art Stirm had hit Deb Ehrman so hard in the nose that it blackened both of Deb's eyes. Now we call Art Dempsey . Margaret Carnahan joined our class in that year, too. As Juniors we presented the play, Mystery in the Library , in which Jack Courter played the part of a crazy professor who thought he was a mastermind. Remember the thick steaks and beer-drinking singers fBud and Glenn? at the Junior-Senior banquet? We went together with Mr. Zion and Whetstone for the entertainment part of the Banquet. It had never been done before, but turned out to be an overwhelming success. After the dance at Mr. Zion, Pat Gary held an open house for the entire Rob- inson group with a breakfast, served cafeteria style in the early a.m. hours. In our senior year we are looking forward to the production of the best North Robinson Annual, the best senior play, and the longest senior trip.

PROPHECY Last summer we returned to our hometown and tracked down our for- mer classmates. We drove past the high school and noticed that a large building was being erected. Being rather curious, we drove over to take a look at it, and who did we see but Jack Courter directing the construction workers. Upon talking to him we found that he was the contractor for the new centralized high school. While we were talking, Pat Gary, the architect of the new building, drove up. Pat told us of Art Stirm's new dairy farm not far from there. She also said that Charles Winch was the painter who had been contracted to paint Art's new home and barns. We drove on and passed a farm that at once drew our attention because of its neatness. In one of the fields we saw a man using aqueer piece of machinery. We stopped and to our amazement, Lloyd Blackford walked over to greet us. He told us that he was a scientific farmer and that he had bought his farm just recently from Melvin Starr, who is a real estate broker. Next we visited with Melvin, who told us he owned a corporation in Columbus, of which Harvey Knell is president. We went to Columbus the next day, and drove into the factory and said hello to Harvey. We learned from him that Joan Dapper is the laboratory technician in the factory. Driving through Columbus, we passed the State House, and decided to go in and see Mark McMichael, who had just been elected governor. The State House was being redecorated by Adena Chandler, who has become well-known for her interior decoration at Lazarus. She informed us that Calvin Knisely is the governor's personal physician and Margaret Carnahan is his nurse. So having seen all our old classmates busy in their chosen professions, we returned home. . 5x H4 7!Ix 14
