colon varsity bullfighting team has a disappointing season The Victor Judd Arena skeet shooting team misses its mark Take steady aim, and fire. Lone team member, Barb Loudenslager Once again the varsity team has lost to the skeet. This was to be expected since the skeet have always won. At the beginning of the season it was felt that this would be our year to win. The reasons for these high expectations were that league rules had been changed allowing for the use of a 50 cal. machine gun instead of the usual shotgun and the fact that the teams could be co-ed. Interest for being on the team was low due to our past record. Barb Loudenslager joined the team last season as a skeet trainer and team manager. This year she was elevated to first string and only shooter. Colon participated in five league meets this season. During these contests, Barb fired 549, 213 rounds of 50 cal. ammo. In the process of all this shooting she did manage to nick one skeet. This one hit was the best record in the league.
