Membership is earned by participation in a varsity sport of one year and receiving a varsity letter. Varsity Club activities this year included: pop sales at the games, hat sales, and the Harlem Diplomat-Faculty Basketball game. Proceeds from these arc used to supplement the athletic program and to fund club functions.

The purpose of the Colon High School Council is to represent the student body by working to bring about practical realistic change for the improvement of our school. This year the Student Council took care of the Homecoming ceremony, the Homecoming Dance, and Snow Festival '79. 29
