homecoming of 1977 King Emit? Stauffer and Queen Kris Johnson. Doreen Hostetler crowns Kris Johnson queen. Despite the Magi loss to Schoolcraft 31-0, the Magi’s spirit was strong. With the climax of Homecoming week, Magi spirit was still high. In addition to the usual King, Queen, and her court there was another new acti-vitity, a float contest. The results were good. The seniors won the float trophy. The Homecoming Queen Candidates were; Kris Johnson escorted by Dennis Babbs, Terri Lucas escorted by Richard Hostetler, Teresa Granado escorted by Ernie Stauffer. Class representitives were; Marie Timms escorted by A1 Davis, Penny McClish escorted by Lloyd Walton, and Julie Skinner escorted by Chris Trine. The final results for queen were— Queen Kris Johnson and King Ernie Stauffer. The cheerleaders made up a schedule for the week before homecoming. It consisted of Monday: jeans—T shirts, can drive, rocking chair marathon from 8:00 to 6:00, bonfire and activities, Tuesday: tie day-wild and weird ties, Wednesday: honor your varsity player day, powder puff football game, Thursday: red and white day, Friday: dress up, Homecoming queen election, pep assembly 1. 3:00 award can trophy 2. award spirit trophy, game 8:00.
