STUDENTS FOLLOW GOOD LEADERSHIP MISS MABLE SMITH Under the sponsorship of Miss Mable Smith, the Student Council of Huntington High School has reached new dimensions. Truly the organization has become an active and dynamic liaison between the student body and the administration; it is a leader in the Peninsula and State organi- zations. Many of the local and state offi- cers have been products of our Council and we have been represented on panels at the national level. Miss Smith's foresight in organizing Leadership Classes has served to train 17 large numbers of students to assume offices in the school and the community. As a student body, we say thank you, Miss Smith, for your role in aiding us to attain higher scholastic and ethical standards, and a greater and keener appre- ciation for cultural activities and last, in aiding us to equip ourselves to take our places in a democratic society. Your versatility, your creativity, your indefatigability and your inspirational guidance will remain to us a joy forever.
