Graduation from high school is a milestone, kilometer post, land mark, or what you please, which indicates to some degree your accomplishments up to this time. It is a kind of measure of the distance and direction of your life travel to date. Perhaps unfortunately, however, this event yields little in the way of clues as to the direction and distance to your ultimate destinations. Life will hold many and diverse meanings to the various members of this class. I recommend a thoughtful pause before each turning rather than a hasty plunge into the unknown experiences to be encountered just around each of life's corners. The faculty of your school hopes the experience here will provide you with an effective foundation upon which to base your many important decisions.
