Anthony Petrecca—How well we remember Ihe lags urging us lo vole for Midge” for president. We did and we're definitely not sorry. Besides being active in basketball and football, and an important member of the class book committee, he gave his time faithfully and loyally lo promoting the activities of the January 1948 class. Rose Zalar—She was really a whopper” of a secretary, this tall 12A with the broad smile. Rosie wore herself out seeing lo it that we kept our appointments for class pictures, and cheerfully gave us a new appointment with the photographer when we lost ours. A wonderful actress, good sport, swell secretary—we can't say enough for our Rose. Nicolina Lopilo—How could there possibly be so much vitality and good will in such a small package? Nickie worked hand in hand with our president and other officers to keep our class meetings quiet and orderly. Through her efforts, the class managed lo raise enough money to pay for its class book. Thanks loads, Nickie. Rubin Mariano—Every time he came near us we could see the dollar signs shining in his eyes. Blackie saw to it that we paid for our announcements, cards, and class books on time—and every penny, too. It really wasn't bad giving our hard-earned cash when we received in exchange for it one of his famous smiles.
