t!i I MADCH TIMr January 33... .an excited crowd of greenies, collected from the neighboring elementary schools, tiptoed respectfully into Colli nwood1s august halls of learning. All year 34... time just marched on. May f35........a big night. Young Handel of Hanover was pre- sented wfth Martin Brown, wearing a long white night shirt, starring as the boy prodigy. He was ably supported by Marjorie Karnatz, Betty Radloff, and Margaret Gorrell in other stellar roles. November 35... blundering into a Student Council meeting by mistake, a little 7B noted with awe the efficient manner in which Eleanor Rusnak, president, conducted a motion which had just been made by the vice-president, who was none other than George Will. January 36.... day of daysl Betty Bartlett won the American Legion medal• May ’37........the Nonas and Carpe Diens, our class’s two Hi-Y clubs, gave the girls a thrill by collaborating for an informal dance. Are we growing up at last? April T38......the 12B-12A basketball game took place, with Chuck Post wearing a startling pair of bright orange gym shorts decorated with a large black diamond over the place of most wear. Bob Ulmer made the one and only point for the erstwhile 12B’s. May 58.........the Prom at last! It was a beautiful Hawaiian night, with the orchestra playing in a grass hut, and glamorous hula dancers decorating the posts. -r s... promtime again, and many enjoyed it even more than the first time. The atmosphere was very Christ-mas-y with a big tree in one corner, and little Santa Clauses as favors.
