T U IK IK E T ■ I u :i :i To the January Class of 1933: Students who leave school in these times face a double duty in maintaining not only their own morale, but frequently that of their families as well, in the face of financial discouragement and distress. Lamentation and self-pity get us nowhere. Cheer and courage is your portion. To you we commit the future, confident that you will do better by it than your elders have with the present. As you leave with a diploma tucked under an arm. may I hope that you carry with you inside as one of the less obvious but more significant evidences of your title as a high school graduate, a substantial belief that intelligence applied to social and economic affairs will make a better world. Here's to your success.

d !------ : 23S 7 t r ii ii i: t ■ i » :i :« -------------- Mr. Stringer Yours was not an easy task, but we trust that you have received just as much enjoyment from working with us. as have we from working with you. Our only regret is that tin-time cannot be longer in which we might become even better acquainted. Mrs. Finley Wc have only to think of the happy time we had Class night, and we’ll remember instantly the fun we shared with you in making it one hilarious time. Not only in class night, but when we were troubled no finer friend had wc to help us over our troubles than you! Mr. Matthias The worries of the 12A Turret have lain upon the shoulders of this teacher, but he has pulled us through it just the same. Mr. Chance His has been the task of bolstering the weak ones and bringing the lost lambs back to the fold!” Mr. Carl A scientist in every sense of the word. Kven when he says something, crackling with his own, individual wit. there is science to it. The science of being wise. Mr. Avery Our teacher, our grade adviser, but most of all our friend! To you in deep appreciation of your service and friendship and advice throughout our high school career, wc dedicate our booklet. It is a small tribute, but one that comes truly irom our hearts. Miss Bockes Not only as a homeroom teacher but as our guide in our preparation for commencement you have been most helpful! The success of this great event has been due largely to your fine cooperation and spirit of service. Mr. Laxdis The announcements will be read at this time ! How outstanding will be the memory of that clap on the desk and your calling us to order for the short ten-minute period. But it was always a most interesting time. Miss Sbcor She has not only been a homeroom teacher, but has endeavored to be a homeroom mother, in which task she has succeeded admirably.
