“CONTACT” Over the Horizon HOW positively enjoyable ami enticing will the “We Flyers Inn” be to our hungry aces—especially with Marjorie Ott and Mary Rupnik the head waitresses. After a long spin through the air, how delicious Dorothy Hirsch’s hot doughnuts will taste to our heroes. Dorothy Steel and Edna Thomas, two of our most active workers, have already put in their applications as mechanics and if their tactics don't work, they’ll talk the planes into running. A new gas has been discovered by one Wildabclle Bosch on which a plane can run for three hours on one-half a gallon. First trials arc unnecessary. Roberta Wilcox is always out for a breezy time and declares she will marry anyone who really knows his airs. Beatrice Porter and Evelyn Dracgcr, beauty eulturists, are predicting a new fashion for women’s hair. Two long sideburns on either side and a little peak in the front is the mode. While revolving up on our “Hispos”, we wonder if Frieda Bartels, Hilda Klein, Marv Gentile, Geraldine Hogan, and Marion Pratt are going to be see’s” at general head-quarters. Eleanor Jordan, Margaret Jolly, Edith Rider, Catherine Rand, and Dorothy Quine all are going to start their careers in a two-room apartment and are going to follow up their “kiwis”. We all know that when off duty the aces will sec in the most exclusive beauty salons, pictures Mary I.ou Flanigan, Christine Howe and Mildred Cook will have posed for. When at the theatre or music halls, the squad is sure to see Audrey Moses and Phyllis Leach giving dramatic roles or Marion Faranacci and Anne Weisx warbling operatic selections. Alice Norton and Mary Perfors arc aspiring authors who will write about the future kiwis and aces. While not traveling around the world in their personal planes, Corrine Gray, Mildred King. Margaret Porter. Ruth Jordan, Rosalie Astlcv and Naomi Winkle plan to be ladies of leisure and stay at home. On the vaudeville circuit Lucille Hcnnig and Josephine Schultz will amuse the squad off duty. Page fifteen
