DEDHCATHON Basketball in Collinsville is a way of life that affects the whole community. It requires clean living and hard work on the part of the playersg it requires the best in sportsmanship on the part of the people who fill the gym for every game to en- courage our teams and to enjoy good clean sportg it requires ded- ication, long hours, a thick skin, and sacrifice of personal interests on the part of the coach. In recognition of these superi- or qualities that are built into all of us who participate, we proudly dedicate the Pirate '63 to Basket- . If ball at Collinsville High. No two students have the same needs: hence ful- filling those needs and preventing the waste of human lives requires a climate of love, understanding, guidance, discipline, and a practical application of these principles on the part of all adults who are in any way concerned with this - the most important business of all - the business of Education. Let's work together to create such a climate for our children. Kirin F TEACHERS GRADE FACULTY 2 :'b E stirfroot, if 52 all MRS, DOROTHY PEARCE B,S, , North Texas State Sixth Grade MRS. Herc takes his pal, Wilbur, with him. Their first reaction when they arrive is: I'm Goin' Home! Claude reassures them that they are the only visitors. But not for long. Claude brings in a body. When I-Ierc and Wilbur turn out the light to go to bed, somebody gets in bed with Herc - and it isn't Wilbur. It is the body, who turns out to be Mr. Quigley whom somebody has attempted to kill by poisoning. In order to trap the would-be-killer, Mr. Quigley plots with Uncle Bob to bring his body to the funeral home and pretend that he is dead. From then on Mr. Quigley is a very lively body : he takes Herc and Wilbur into his confi- dence: he falls in love with Grannyg Nina charms Herc into not goin' home 9 Daphne changes her mind and says yes 3 Dr. Brown is found guilty of attempted murder: Wilbur and Celeste, Herc and Nina, just us four go to the show instead of goin' home. L. Carney Mrs. Bill Faulkner Mrs. George Riddle President Program Budget and Finance Membership IN APPRECIATION We, your children, salute you, the PTA, our mothers and dads! As a part of your parental duty you provide us with clean clothes, lunch money, money for school supplies, and spending money. Hay rides, parties, picnics, Turner Falls, Six Flags - you were with us when you might have been watching TV, or just resting after a hard day's work. This sacrifice we really appreciate. We, the teachers, cannot find words to express our appreciation to the PTA for the hours, the days, even, that you have given to help us make a better school. You could have said: Let the teachers do itg that's what they are paid for. You have redecorated our schoolrooms, bought books and equipment. A big Thank You, PTA, from the teachers. We, the community, appreciate your efforts, even as we sit back, take lite easy, and watch you do the work, because we realize that the school is the heart of our community.
