Miss Celia Tuck, mother of Milton Pearce, our principal, was a member of the first graduating class in 1906. The grandfather of the editor of the PIRATE '62, Douglas Tuck. also attended Collinsville High School prior to 1906. The graduates of the Class of '62 are the possessors of a rich heritage. To you is awarded a place of high privilege and responsibility. You have no choice but to succeed. My best wishes go with' you that God may guide us as teachers to equip you with the knowledge and with you as students with the understanding to meet life's every test.
