Dedication wzyeiw A child is God's finest creation and man's most precious possession. It follows then that those persons to whom God entrusted the care of a child are the most important people in the world - PARENTS, Though the responsibility of parents is tremendous, this responsibility is balanced by commensurate privileges and rewards. To fail as a parent is the greatest failure of all. To Christian parents everywhere, who are the very foundation of our homes, our communi- ties, our nation, all graduating seniors in the year 1962 owe a special debt of gratitude that we can only partially repay. To all parents, to the kind of parents we hope we shall be, but more especially to OUR PARENTS, we humbly and gratefully dedicate the PIRATE '62, Class of '62 Collinsville High School

tupercinigcimdeicif f 'jffii W 7255 This year marks the fifty-sixth annual graduation exercise at Collinsville High School. Miss Celia Tuck, mother of Milton Pearce, our principal, was a member of the first graduating class in 1906. The grandfather of the editor of the PIRATE '62, Douglas Tuck. also attended Collinsville High School prior to 1906. The graduates of the Class of '62 are the possessors of a rich heritage. To you is awarded a place of high privilege and responsibility. You have no choice but to succeed. My best wishes go with' you that God may guide us as teachers to equip you with the knowledge and with you as students with the understanding to meet life's every test. Always, wherever we are, we shall all be proud to have been a part of Collinsville High School. Sincerely, P. E, Anderson, Superintendent
