A break from class participation is spent relaxing on the jungle gym. The three-year experimental PUPS program was officially validat- ed in May. During the three years it served as a pilot program funded by the Federal Government. With offi- cial validation it's now feasible for other schools to offer similar pro- grams. The PUPS program is the only one of its kind today in the United States. PUPS, called Parents Utilize Pre-Kindergarten Skills, gives par- ents, students and pre-schoolers the opportunity to learn about themselves and parenthood.
