N uv- 'SO .CLASS 'CLASHES' FDR FIRST Class Clash was quite surprising with the sophomores overpowering all. The juniors took second, with the seniors close behind in third place. Class Clash was begun by a series of rotating events, such as standing on a tin can while bending over to light a candle, and blowing a dixie cup along a string. The major goals set by the classes were to win the tug-of-war and build the best mummy out of toilet paper. Seniors, of course, dominated tug- of-war, while, the juniors stole the show in to build a mummy. A new fan was introduced at the Homecoming Pep Assembly. He was the Kahok who hasn't eaten since we last won the Homecoming Football Game, which was in 1974. The Football-Wrestling Cheerleaders presented a skit to You Make Me Feel Like Dancing. Ump-de-dump was the phrase used to describe the skit by Basketball-Soccer Cheerleaders. A. Ump-de-dump, yells the Basketball-Soc- cer Cheerleaders. B. Football-Wrestling Cheer- leaders make you feel like dancing. C. l'm a little bit country. D. Stafford Mr. Muscle Ga- vin gives his acceptance speech at the Home- coming Assembly. E. .lay Dowling uses body lan- guage to show off his muscles. F. The Pep Band plays on. G. Assemblies bring out the 'clown' in me. H. Seniors won first place in the annual pep chain contest. l. WOW!
