Mr. Lambird MATH TEACHERS STIMULATE LOGICAL THINKING A variety of courses are available in the CHS math department. Offerings included ore practical math. Algebra I and II, and plane geometry. Senior math is a combined course of solid geometry, trigonometry, and calculus. Whether the student is college bound or plans to begin his career after graduation, this four year math program prepores him for any endeavor. 29

Latin I and ti provide a Sasic understanding of both the language and the customs of the ancient Romans. The third and Fourth year students, under the able guidance oF Mrs. Dorothy Koelling, study advanced translations. Spanish, representing the modern languages, is taught by Mrs. Trudi Monroe and Mrs. SoFia Clark. Students concentrate mainly on the conversational phases in the First and second years.
