THESE ARE THE ELDERS Sometimes life's trail will twist through dense growths of forests, and other times it will lead over broad sun-kissed plains. Trav- eling this long and deeply rutted pathway will not be easyg we will offten s-tumble and even fall, but the skills and wealth of knowl- edge -that we have gained from our wise and devoted leaders will enable us to rise to our feet again. We have been given a firm foot- hold on life's rugged journey. It is now up to us to keep our grip secure that our foort- steps might be ever upward and lead us straight as an arrow to our aim in life. Those of us who have dared to venture from the fields of ignorance to begin the long and difficult climb up the totem pole of Wis- dom and knowledge, have found the advice and guidance of our elders our most price- less possession. They have patiently watched over and guided us through some of the most important and difficult years of our life. Only through them have we gained the cour- age and strength to stand up against the blows of life's battles. 12 RONALD AMS Intelligent and nice-looking competent teacher of English II and IV . . . re- ceived his B.S. at Bethel Col- lege in.
