(Community lyjnit 10 the high school, and is now superintendent of Unit 10. His rapid promotion in the various positions of the school system indicates the enthusiasm lie has for his work. Because he is an excellent organizer he always finds time for smaller problems which might be overlooked by someone less efficient. We hope he will have even more success. 13

Collinsville Community Unit No. 10 is extremely fortunate in having an administrator as capable as Mr. Darling. Mr. Darling’s career in Collinsville began in 1936. He began as an industrial arts teacher and coach at the junior high school. He then became principal of the Webster School and was then promoted to coach and principal of the high school. He soon advanced to the position of superintendent of 13

Mb. J. Paul Gardner In the comparatively short time Mr. Gardner has been at Collinsville High School he has introduced countless improvements which make the school operate more smoothly. He is continually striving for better student-faculty relations. Mr. Gardner has earned the respect and good will of the students. 14
