On a brlght autumn day un 1947 we seniors with thumplng hearts cmd shaking knees entered C T H S for the very first time Much has happened smce that first day four years ago our minds and bodues have grown new fruendshlps have been formed and true leaders have been duscovered among us Now glancmg back over those years we recall the good tlmes we have had together We soon became accustomed to hugh school llfe and the days turned rapudly unto months then years exams amazingly passed Our tlme was spent studymg lounmg extra curricular actlvltles and trying to make the team The cool football nlghts the playmg of lndnan Trall the homecoming parades the traps to state the beautuful coronatlons the whisper of a full sklrted formal our Junior Prom the flrst day we were freshmen, and the last day we were senuors-these are all mem- orles whlch we shall cherush as long as we lnve We, the class of 1951, will never forget the llttle red school house on Van- dalua Street-our Alma Mater-where consclentlous teachers guided our footsteps toward higher learnmg and lnsplratlon.
