As the enrollment increased, from year to year, it became evident that a woman of mature judgment was much needed to serve in the capacity of Dean of Girls. Miss Harris's qualifications caused the Board of Education to choose her for that important office three years ago. In addition, during the past year, she has served as assistant to the Principal. The faithful service and unfailing loyalty to all of the interests of our school rendered by Miss Harris, through the years, prompt the KAHOKIAN Staff to most respectfully dedicate this fifth edition of the KAHOKIAN to her in token of appreciation of her efforts for the upbuilding of C.
