f., SUPERINTENDENT S MESSAGE H H YV1lSOY1 l l would like to take this opportunity to thank each of vou who have contributed in any way to the success ofour school lt may seem to some that the things you participated in were trivial but a suc cessful school is one that is made up of many things and some are more outstanding than others but they are not necessarily of any more importance for there is an ever increasing demand for leadership The tralts that you develop and the habits that you form in your high school career will probably go through life with you so with this ln mind it is our prayer that all of your traits and habits are good ones Especially do I want to express my appreciation to those who have made this Cardinal Yearbook a successful reality I hope that each of you through your experiences here in high school will be able to think clearly fairly and obJect1vely and that vou will apply this clear falr obJect1ve thinking to dailyltvxngand the solution of all problems be they of a local national or world level l hope that vou have learned to evaluate and face facts, that you will use facts rather than personal whims and sel fish emotions in planning your future You can do this if you have learned to discipline self Srnce the appearance of the 53 Cardinal we have had many experiences Some of them were pleasant some were unpleasant and some were sad but it is from experience that we learn and develop into whatever we choose to be To those of you who will leave Central this spring lwant to extend the very best wishes of the Board of Education the Faculty and my personal congratulations for your accomplishments We are proud of you if ever we can be of help to vou ask us I S .
