' fx .'llA., 'J' n-1 JUNIOR CLASS OFFICERS President Charles Zink Vice President Michael Zastawniak Secretary Treasurer Marilyn Thompson JUNIOR CLASS ACHIEVEMENTS During the school year of 1957 58 the Junior Class has contributed much to the welfare of the entire school The following are a few but, by no means all of ou r numerous accomplishments A Junior was attendant to Miss Red Devil A Junior was attendant to the Homecoming Queen There we re many Junior boys on the football team and several on the starting lineup Six Juniors are in the ma-Jorette line .Tumors are members of both the LOG and ACORN Staff .Tumors conducted a successful magazmg campaign Three Juniors are in the cheerleading squad Two Juniors are co captains of this cheerleading squad Juniors were members of the Red Devil Basketball squad Juniors represented Collins at the Southeastern Student Council meeting Juniors participated in the Christmas program and a Junior took the part of Santa Clause .Tumors belong to almost every school club and hold various offices in many Two Juniors were representatives at Know Your State Government Day held in Charleston .Tumors represented Collins at county and State student Council conventions .Tumors assisted in conducting the Freshman Orientation Day program .Tumors participated in the Student Council Talent Show A Junior won first place in the Show .Tumors have been honored as best dressed and student standouts by the LOG staff A Junior was one of the first place winners in the most popular sec tion A junior obtamedhonorable mention on the All State Football Team Juniors attended the axmual Tri H1 Y tea Two Juniors attended the Southern Association Of Student Council Convention held at Arlington Virginia 38 -. , I X 'zz .
