N HOME ECONOMICS CLUB To prepare girls to become better home- makers and to train them in all fields of home making is the purpose of the Home Economics Club. This organization meets once a month, and to become a member, a girl must follow the home economics course and take four years of study in the curriculum. Movies about homemaking with emphasis on such variable questions as proper table setting, silver and china selection, preparation of foods to preserve nutrients, and wardrobe selection are shown at these monthly meetings. As one oftheir many activities, the girls sold donuts twice a month and with the money, pur- chased a sterling silver tea set. Next on the a- genda is the purchase ofa drop leaf table for the set. Initiation for the club occured in February, and in May, the girls prepared a covered dish supper for the home economics majors. Sponsor: Mrs. Isabelle Tyree President. . . . . . . . . .
