And J-fer King Valentines day came to Collins in the form supreme. The dance was held in the Little Thea ofa Latin Club dance. The time for lovers turns ter, where all guests gasped ove r the elaborate into a time for joy makers, and enjoyment reigned decorations. Included in the Collins Christmas a- genda were dances given bythe Tri-Hi-Y, Senior Class, and Girls' Athletic Associa- tio n. These dances added to the gaiety of Christmas. Romantic dim lights added atmosphere to the Tri-Hi-Y and Senior Dances which we re held in the scout cabin. At the Tri- Hi -Y dance tinkling bells given as souvenirs could be heard everywhere. The gymnasium was originally decorated with crepe paper for the Girls Athletic Association dance. Enieriainrnerii. was provided by alurnni and students alike. Among the alumni were the original Three B's. An outstanding featu re of the Girls Athletic Association dance wa s the Jazz Band composed of ta- lented Collins s t ude nt s and a cake walk. Other entertainers were the Widday twins, M i c h a el Zastawniak, Sue McPherson and Paul Mullins, and Sharon Miller.
