Se cretary-Treasurer To the freshmen, much of the show FRESHMAN IN MORE THAN ONE PHASE of school life, the Freshman Class made Collins High School proud of its members. Their program for the year shows a succession of hits for 1952-53. Freshmen held the fifth annual Freshman Frolic. Freshmen sponsored the first afternoon Iunior High Homecoming honoring Miss lmp and her attendant. A freshman is cartoonist for the Log. Freshmen have been recognized as best-dressed students and Student Standouts, 68 CLASS RECORD Freshman Class a number of times led other classes in number placed on the honor roll. Freshmen are members of the Latin, French, and Glee Clubs and the Devils Den. Freshmen won first place for the most appra priate float at Homecoming. A freshman home room won the magazine con- test and a trip to the Ice Follies in Charleston. A number of freshmen were Imp football, basket- ball, and track stars.
