Linda Hager freshman had the center of the stage that day as the choice of students of the sev- enth eighth and ninth grades for the fifth Miss Imp. Linda an Imp cheerleader was attended by Beverly Blake also an Imp cheerleader and maid-of-honor Barbara Hess eighth grade attendant and Rebecca Cummings seventh grade attendant. ,, .digs During the half-time ceremonies George Kincaid student body president presented the queen and her attendants with bouquets of giant mums. This years celebration marked Linda s second appearance at Imp Homecoming, since she was chosen to be the seventh grade attendant to Miss Imp of 1950. To make the day perfect the Imps chalked up another victory by defeating the Little Mustangs of Mount Hope. 3' 7

Gypsy Kay Hall, head varsity cheerleader, is presented to ians by Lt. Miss Red Devil and Miss Mustang congratul- Baird Martin, graduate ol '46 at the Mount Hope-Oak Hill qame. November 7. ate each other after their presentation. Lovely Gypsy was chosen for the honor by students in a special election. Her escort scene! is her brother, Iimmy Hall. lk. Ever so often We presented a special act MISS RED DEVIL ONE OF THE BIG SHOWS of football season- a double feature, in fact-is the Miss Red Devil cele- bration combined with the traditional Little Brown lug classic. Happy is the girl who is the choice of the Collins student body for Miss Red Devil, for the title signifies that she is not only one of the most popular girls in the school, but is one of the most outstanding from the point of service to the school. Her presenta- tion to fans at halftime during the Collins-Mt. Hope game is one of the big scenes of the year's program. In the Miss Red Devil spotlight for 1952 was Gypsy Kay Hall, and her classmates were proud indeed to recognize in this way her talents and loy- alty to Collins and the Red Devils. 156 Miss Red Devil and her attendants pause before leaving the field at half-time. Homecoming SAY! ONE PERFORMANCE THAT EVERY- ONE really enjoyed this year was that of Home- caminq festivities. Queen Nancy Walton with her charm and poise stole the show. Presented to fans at half- time by Mr. loe Oliver, principal. Queen Nancy was escorted by Franklin Kincaid, senior class president. Class attendants and their escorts were: Ruth Ann Dixon, maid of honor, escorted by Georqe Kincaid: Rita Baumqartner, junior at- tendant, escorted by Iimmy Mundy: Dreama Wyant, sophomore attendant. escorted by Pat Errinqton: and Ann Pleasant, crown bearer. The lovely queen and her party watched the parade of floats from the Home Room Assembly float, which led the parade. A qay, wonderful night-,Home-coming. And the Red Devils defeated the Bobcats-a perfect performance!
