MONTY DONACHY HARLEY JOE FRAZIER BILL GOOD IOE MUNDY Center Forward Forward Guard VARSITY BASKETBALL SUMMARY SLOW TO START THIS YEAR, Red Devil basketeers gained momentum at midseason and scored one triumph after another to end the season with a 9 Won-10 lost record. Enthusiasm and basketball fever gained momentum with spectators, too, as the season progressed: and Sectional Tournament sessions in Fayetteville at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Building looked like a Red Devil Homecoming celebration. With hope so high, Devil players and specta- tors suffered keenly when the Mt. Home Mustangs toppled the Red and Black in the finals, 55-44.
