Sixty-three counts are necessary for grad- uation from Collingswood High and a mini- mum of four subjects plus physical education are required each year, Six curricula are offered to the students: Classical, Technical, General, Manual Arts, General Business, and Secretarial. The Classical and Technical courses are designed for students preparing for college. The General course is designed for students desiring a variety of subjects. The commercial courses, General Business and Secretarial, are business preparatory courses. The Manual Arts course is designed for those boys expecting to take up some mechanical type of occupation. Each student is urged to participate in at least one of the many interesting and helpful extra-curricular activities available at Col- lingswood High. Collingswood High School is fully accred- ited by the New Iersey State Department of Education and by the Commission of Col- leges and Secondary Schools of the Middle Atlantic States and Maryland. This year there are approximately seven hundred and ninety students enrolled under the instruction of forty-six teachers. The lac- ulty is headed by the principal, Mr. Percy S. Eichelberger, and the vice-principal, Mr. Richard L. Currier. Besides the teachers, there are other staff members, including Mrs. Ruth Taylorg librarian, Mrs. Mirian S. Aber, assistant librarian, Miss Achsah Tatem, school nurse, Miss Mildred M. Oliver, Miss Helen Boyd, and Miss Kathryn Weible, school secretaries. A guidance committee helps students solve their personal problems as well as their school problems.
