Haddonfield is the last setback for the Calls Many times the Calls are within the l-laddons' one-yard line, but fail to tally. The l-laddons ' only scoring threat is their successful field goal from the 20-yard mark. Le Sage leads the Colls. The Calls turn in their last victory over Woodrow Wilson, with Joe Didio again captain. Schaefer again scores both touchdowns. The score is I2-7, In the Turkey-day game, the Calls turn in a scoreless tie against the Thundering Herd from Woodbury. Both teams play well, the Calls often being within the 'll-lerd's one-yard line but failing to have that extra punch. Schaefer and Jakob co- captain during this last game. The closing season finds Collingswood in pos- session af the South Jersey Football Championship, But the bays are not the only chompons. Take a look at the championship hockey squad! Kiss that teddy bear, quick! There's only a minute before game time- Now listen, kids. Let's play the game from start to finish. Remember, 'The team that won't be beat, can't be beat.' Joe Didio, tackle, is the captain of the day. The Camden game starts the Collingswood sorrows. The Calls do not have as much pep and power as usual. Camden's only score comes in the last quarter when Ross, captain of the game, comes into the bcickfield to kick, Ward, of Cam- den, comes in and blocks the kick. lt rolls into the mob behind the end zone. Camden scares! The Calls continually threaten the Camden goal line, but fail to scare. The game ends in a 2-O defeat for the Coils, This is the first setback of the season. ln the Trenton game, the Calls unleash a new threat to the opponents in the person of Eddie Estlow. I-le runs like o deer, scoring on an eight-yard run around end. Miller tallies the last six-pointer, making the score l3-O. Schaefer captains the team.
