HONOR AWARDS OF1955 The Rosemary Medal: BARBARA ELIZABETH BAKER Given by Mrs. john Stewart Bryan to the student of the Upper School who has shown most markedly the qualities of constructive leadership. The Elizabeth Graeme Barlaoar Medal: JUDITH GAITHER JORG A memorial to a former well-beloved headmistress, given to the student of the Upper School with the highest scholastic standing for the year. Upper School Cup: CLASS OF 1955 Intermediate Cup: CLASS OF 1960 These cups are presented to the classes of the Upper and Intermediate Schools respectively which have done the most during the year to develop school spirit and promote the best interests of the school. The john Didlalee Fry Cup: MARGARET KIMBALL TILGHMAN Awarded to the girl in the Intermediate School who has shown most markedly the qualities of cooperation, helpfulness, loyalty, and leadership. The Green and Gold Cup: THE GREENS Awarded on a competitive hasis to the team which is most outstanding in all phases of school life. Scholarship Award Given hy the Class of 1 9 50: ELEANOR MARSHALL OPPENHIIVIER . Awarded to the girl in the Upper School who has worked most steadily for the good of the school. The Charles Larus Reed Athletic Award: ALINE MEAD PAYNE Awarded to the girl in the Upper School who best exemplifies good sportsmanship and leader- ship in approaching those ideals which are the basis for all athletic competition. The H olcornla-Crockett Music Award: GRACE PARRISH MERCER Awarded to the girl in the Upper School who has contributed most generously of her time and talent in the field of music.
