THE LIBRARY COMMITTEE . 63 The Library Committee is made up of representatives from the four classes of the Upper School. The purpose of this group is to assist the librarian in the functioning of the library. The special project of the year is the observ- ance of National Book Week in November. Emphasis is given this program by placing posters and book jackets in the halls and auditorium. THE COLLEGIATE COMMITTEE 54 The purpose of the Collegiate Committee is to promote pride in the appearance of the school. The Committee is also in charge of social func- tions ancl other activities not promoted hy another committee. During the year it sponsors the Old Cirl-N ew Girl Tea and the Christmas Bazaar.
