Miss Bunnell, well-versed in the theatrical' arts from her many hours of research done at the Barksdale Theater, di- rects this production. She won an academy award last sea- son for the best foreign film of the year, The Pole and I. This year her nature series on the habits of the duck-billed pladypus is expected to receive even wider acclaim. Miss Bunnellls most recent outside interest is the opening of her new night club, The Terry Tiger. Miss Sally Scherer has fulfilled one of her lifetime ambitions in writing modern music. This dates back to her early days of musical toil with Miss Cowles at Collegiate School. Miss Scherer, as everyone hoped she would, finally married and is living on Grove Avenue in Richmond. She is now on the Board of Directors at the Country Club so that she may spend even more time there, Miss Henley, as all of her old friends expected she would, writes the lyrics for popular songs, including the songs in The Wives, which are expected to become overnight hits. Some of her latest smashes have been I'm Filling-My Jewelry Box With Bracelets From You, Water Over Warsaw, and 'KPaper Drive Blues. Miss Henley has given up her career as a horsewoman and is practicing to swim the channel, Miss Hervey, the talented musical director, gives her touch of genius to the music of Henley and Scherer. Soon after her graduation from Collegiate, she began a successful ca- reer both as a wife and a musician. Miss Robins is very fortunate in gaining the services of her classmate, who sel- dom consents to leave the Florida sunshine. After her year of training in rhythmics at Collegiate, Miss Shinnick embarked on her spectacular rise to fame in the field of choreography, Her greatest triumph was last sea- son's hit play, Hyde and Ga Seek, written, incidentally, by her young husband. Despite the fact that many of her plays open in New York, Mi-ss Shinnick insists on living in Rich- mond and is now serving as the president of the Daughters of the Confederacy. 34
