This yearbook will recall your happy associations in school while you were working with hand and mind. We wish you well as you build upon what you have already learned. William Cowper said, Knowledge is proud that he has learn'd so much, wisdom is humble that he knows n-o more. May God bless you richly with both knowledge and wisdom. Sincerely, Louis A. KRUG Supervising Principal LOUIS A. KRUG . . supervision . . Mr. Krug has a full-time job carrying out the policies established by the School Board in accord- ance with state regulations in the three schools included in the Perkiomen loint School System. He is responsible for the purchasing of equipment and supplies to fill the needs of each school. When repairs are necessary, Mr. Krug is ready to have the troubles remedied speedily. An additional duty this year is the supervision of the new wings now being constructed at the high school, in order to ease our growing pains. Other tasks which are part of his daily routine are screening and interviewing applicants for teach- ing positions, planning curriculum revision, sub- mitting financial reports, and doing the thousand and one odd jobs that are part of running a school system. Writing recommendations for high school seniors applying for jobs or planning to enter college proves to be a time-consuming service performed by Mr. Krug. Despite his busy schedule, Mr. Krug manages to find time to participate actively in community affairs. He sings in the church choir and at bene- fits, is a member of the Rotary Club, enjoys garden- ing, and takes a traditional hunting trip every fall. Throughout all his activities, both business and pleasure, Mr. Krug is noted for his friendly, tact- ful manner.
