The object of the Board is “to represent the students in the government of the College and to further in every way the interests of the students.” The Mistress of Discipline and her assistant, two Seniors, two Juniors, one Sophomore and one Freshman composed the first Board. In 1911 the Board was enlarged to include the Mistress of Studies and the Day Scholar Representative. Today the Board includes all the original number and has added the President and Vice-President of the Fresh- man Class, two extra Senior Members and two Sophomore Members. 19
