Anderson Memorial Library MR. OLSON The Anderson Memorial Library, a gift of Andrew Carnegie, is a stone building erected in 1901 in memory of his former employer and friend, Colonel John B, Anderson. Chemistry. The Atomic Age Every year the demand for the College of Emporia graduate with concentration in chemistry far exceeds the supply. Chemists are needed in research, in government, and in education. Top chemists go in for advanc- ed degrees, but the demand is so great that even a limited amount of chemistry is an asset in getting a job. 451- DUANE PICKETT DR. JESSE R.
