Honoring Thy Mom and Pop Students Show Rents Around the Place A couple of freshmen were seen hang- ing out of a Yate ' s window, unfurling a banner down the side of the building which read Hi, Mom and Dad Then came the realization — sandwiched in between Homecoming and Fall Break, Oct. 10-12, was Parents Weekend. But what did this mean? To some it meant a few days of salvation from Captain Sham- rock. To others it was a time to admit that parents weren ' t so dumb after all.
