Along with the new Associate Dean for Residence Hall Life, Morris Wray, Vanderbilt gave us Interhall, a campus-wide dormitory association that spent the year getting started. An attempt to make dorm life a valuable contributor to the overall educational experience by planning cultural, intellectual, and social programs for residence hall. Unit B ' s Uncle Morris Coffee House, for example, and lobby showings of Walt Disney ' s The Absent-Minded Profp ' ' or If dorms were nothing else, they were packed jammed full. The lack of living space gave President Graves an argument against Richmond ' s pressure for a higher enrollment.
