THOMAS JEFFERSON STUBBS. A. M., Ph.D. Professor of Mathematics Born in Gloucester County. Virginia; received early education at Cappahosic Academy; A. Virginia, where he received his early education. After being graduated from V. M. I., he attended William and Mary College, which conferred upon him the honorary degree of Master of Arts. He studied medicine at the University of N ' irginia and Bellevue Hospital Medical College. New York, where he received his M. D. Taught two years in Giles College.
