Aldus devoted himself to the task of preserving classical literature from oblivion by committing Latin and Greek into reproducible type. His editions of the Latin and Greek classics are characterized by accurracy in form, beauty in style, and tasteful artfulness. With the aid of eminent scholars and through tireless strivings for excellence, Aldus was instrumental in directing the trend of education to produce the advances of today. Ms. Coughlin, a 1968 graduate of the College, majored in music. She has appeared throughout the country and Europe in concerts and dramatic productions. Homecoming 1973 October fifth through the seventh set the scene for Saint Teresa Homecoming weekend. Participation included a variety ofdisguised college members . . . and activities from students to faculty. Studentsjoin together in a procession to the chapel before the Mass. Saint Francis Day The college community got together for Saint Francis Day on October fourth. A Mass was held in the college chapel, with creation as the theme. Students united to help with the planning as well as to give it meaning by their participation. The 'Creation Mass' was concelebrated by college Chaplains Father T , and Father McGee, with Bishop L. Watters ofWinona as Chiel'Celebrant. 1 ff-'ff ni' r If K if .tix y-3 l 'Q .1 Jr v Saint Teresa Day Observance ofthe feast ofSaint Teresa of Avila on October 15, I974 held special significance since it marked the 50th anniversary ofthe groundbreaking ofthe Chapel ofSaint Mary of the Angels. Invited to celebrate with the College Community, students, faculty, staff and personnel were former chaplains ofthe College. Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America were represented in the wide array of cultural gifts of song and dance. The gala, held in March, as usual attracted a large and appreciative audience from Winona and area.
