Cl-llCl'C luxe been four athletic associations .nt Saint Rose this year. the Riding Club, the Su nnmnnngi lub, the ll.1slceiln1llCQlub, and the Tennis Club. The presidents ol' these four tlnlws .ire yoineil iogerher in an athletic board 144 to supervise all events of the clubs. We have already mentioned the Riding Club. The Swimming Club meets twice a week and at the various swimming races at the pool the girls from Saint Rose have made excellent showing. The oHicers of the club are Dorothy Baker, Priscilla Day and Carol Brown. Patricia Bates is the manager of the Basketball Club and Jayne O'Brien is the assistant manager. The members compete in interclass contests and a good deal of practise. This spring saw the A. Koscbok and M. Hoey shake after .fz tennis workout in the gym.

construction of a tennis court on the Saint Rose campus, and, also, the estahltshmcnt of tennis as one of the major hohhies of the student hody. Dorothy Baker is the man.iger of the cluh. Rocethia, the tnusic society ofthe college, is under the supervision of' Sister Rita Agnes and Sister Margaret Frances. The officers for the year included Mary Kathryn Canfield, presidentgqlane Dolphin, vice-president, Mar- gery Lisowski, treasurerg and Mary lloyce as secretary. The monthly meetings of this clulw present a wide variety of activity. The tracing ofthe history of tnusic accompanied hy the using of records for illustrative purposes, was the topic of one meeting. At another, Mr. Yan Olinda, well known music critic of the capital district, was the guest speaker. Mr. Van Olinda told of his meetings with famous musicians of our times and related varied incidents alwout thetn.
