LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE PROGRAM This program covers all the areas related to practical nursing. These areas include nursing needs of patients, maternal and newborn care, clinical foundation, medical nursing, surgical nursing, maternal and infant care, nursing of children, geriatrics and rehabilitation, mental health, recovery room, central service and evening experience. The course starts with an overview of the field and ends with a review involving time spent in one of the four basic areas: medical, surgical, maternity, or pediatrics.
